Police responded to a reported disturbance around 4pm on Tuesday, April 30th near the entrance to Horseshoe Bay beach in Southampton.
A police spokesman said: “The participants in the altercation had left prior to police arrival, but it appears that several individuals were involved.”
Inquiries are underway and any witnesses or members of the public with relevant information are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.
