An 18-year-old teenager was treated at the hospital’s Emergency Department, for serious stab wounds sustained in an incident that occurred shortly after 12 noon yesterday, on Cherry Lane in Warwick, in the Ord Road area.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the Ord Road, Cherry Lane Warwick area around 12:10pm Thursday, January 25th, or anyone with any relevant information to contact the main police number on 295-0011.
Meanwhile, police and first responders were dispatched to a three-car accident that occurred during rush hour traffic, on Crow Lane in Pembroke, just before 9am Thursday morning.
A police spokesman said: “Initial information suggests that the three cars were involved and that the three vehicles were being driven into the City of Hamilton when the collision occurred.
“Apparently all three cars and a wall were damaged, but there were no reported injuries.
“However, it is believed that the female driver of one of the cars involved was taken to the hospital via ambulance for treatment relating to a pre-existing condition.”
After some delays, he said, traffic flow returned to normal along Crow Lane.
