Police renewed their appeal for public assistance in the investigation into the armed robbery at Pompano Beach Club on Monday morning.
The incident, involving two men, one of them armed with a knife, who made good their escape shortly after 11am yesterday reportedly with small quantity of cash.
Both suspects were described as light skinned and six feet tall, wearing dark coloured jackets.
No injuries were reported and the scene was processed by the relevant police officers.
Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone who may have any information that can assist their inquiries – in particular residents in the Pompano Beach Club area that were home around 11am Monday – to contact Sergeant Renay Rock at the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.
