The Bermuda Police Service has renewed a public advisory, following two ‘chain snatching’ incidents in the last week.
A police spokesman said one of those incidents resulted in a man sustaining non-life threatening injuries.
“In both instances the suspects and victims were men,” he said.
“As a result of these latest incidents it is once again strongly recommended that members of the public consider not having their expensive jewellery on display in public and remain vigilant for any unknown or suspicious individuals approaching them.
“Anyone with any information regarding similar suspicious activity is encouraged to report it to the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.”
