The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) today renewed their appeal to the public to stop sharing videos on social media that show Flatts murder victim 19-year-old Letrae Doeman at the scene shortly after he was shot multiple times.

In an update issued earlier today, a police spokesman said: “Detectives continue to progress this murder investigation and appreciate all assistance received so far.

“At last check the four men arrested in connection with this fatal shooting, that also left a 20-year-old man injured, remained in police custody.

“Members of the public with knowledge of the 19-year-old’s movements prior to his murder – from Thursday night, June 30th until around 1:10am Friday, July 1st, 2022 – are urged to get in contact with the investigative team.

“Witnesses or individuals with any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, should call the Serious Crimes Unit on 295-0011, the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477, or speak with a police officer they know.”
