News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) is aware of an image that is circulating depicting two males in dark helmets carrying what appears to be firearms outside a private residence.
Acting Superintendent Peter Stableford said: “The image is extremely concerning and potentially represents a serious risk to the personal safety of persons potentially being targeted by those observed in the video images.
“The BPS are conducting investigations into this matter to identify the individuals and to prevent any further escalation. The image is believed to have been taken Tuesday night (Mar 22) and should not be circulated as it could potentially create and/or increase fear within our community, as well as undermine the police investigation into what happened.
“Although the BPS are encouraging persons to desist from sharing the footage any further we are seeking assistance from those persons who have actually viewed the image and can provide any specific information whether or not you believe it to be significant.”
