Police on Upcoming Road Sobriety Checkpoints in Eight Parish – August 1st to 4th

The Bermuda Police Service put the public on notice today of the next series of road sobriety checkpoints (as specified in the Official Gazette Notice Wednesday, July 24^th), which will be conducted throughout Cup Match holiday weekend, starting Thursday, August 1^st.

A spokesman said: “The checkpoints will be in effect in St George’s, Hamilton Parish, Smith’s Parish, Devonshire, Pembroke, Paget, Warwick and Southampton on Thursday, August 1^st, Friday, August 2^nd, Saturday, August 3^rd and Sunday, August 4^th.
