A police officer ended up in the hospital’s Emergency Department following a single vehicle accident, while out on patrol with the motorcycle unit.
A police spokeswoman said the accident occurred around 10:17pm last night (June 18), near Trimingham Hill in Paget.
The officer was treated for injuries which are not believed to be serious.
Traffic diversions were put in place at the North and South Roundabouts, while traffic accident investigators processed the scene.
