North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish remained closed to through traffic this morning due to a single vehicle accident  which damaged a telephone poll yesterday (July 18).

Police say the accident occurred near the Howzat liquor shop in Shelly Bay.

A spokesman said traffic headed east is being diverted along Harrington Sound Road and over to South Shore Road or Knapton Hill at Devil’s Hole.

Traffic headed west, is being diverted along Wilkinson Avenue to Paynters Road and onto South Shore Road. Motorists may also use Knapton Hill to access South Shore Road.
