Roadside checkpoints will be set up across the island next weekend to test motorists for riding or driving under the influence of alcohol.
The notice was published in the Official Gazette stating that the checkpoints would be in operation on January 21, 22 and 23 in seven of the island’s nine parishes,
The only parishes not included were St George’s and Sandys.
Breath test checkpoints were established in 2018 in a bid to discourage drinking and driving.
