A 35-year-old male motorcyclist injured in a two vehicle accident in Devonshire early Friday morning, is today listed in stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

Police say the accident occurred around 7:30am on Friday, (July 6th), at the junction of Middle Road and Tee Street.

A spokesman said: “It appears that a car was being driven in the eastbound lane of Middle Road and a motorcyclist was travelling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred, as the driver of the car attempted to turn on to Tee Street.

“The rider, believed to be a 35-year-old Pembroke man, was hurt and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.”

No other injuries reported and both vehicles involved were damaged.
