Police, fire and ambulance personnel were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Middle Road and Orange Valley Road in Devonshire around 12:30pm on Wednesday, January 16, where a motorcycle and a car collided.
The accident occurred on Middle Road near the junction with Orange Valley Road when a motorcycle and a car collided as the car driver attempted to enter Middle Road.
A spokesman said: “The injured rider, said to be a 56-year-old Devonshire man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, treated and later discharged,
“There were no other injuries reported. However, both vehicles involved were damaged.”
