A 49-year-old St George’s man injured in a two vehicle collision in Sandys Parish man yesterday, has been treated and released from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

Police say the accident occurred around 7pm on Wednesday, January 23 when the motorcyclist, who was travelling along Somerset Road collided with a car attempting to exit Beacon Hill Road.

No other injuries were reported. However, both vehicles involved were damaged.

Meanwhile, the 62-year-old pedestrian struck by a car on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish near Trinity Church Road around 3pm on Thursday, January 17, remains listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
