Police: Motorcyclist in Serious Condition After BFRS Lifts Car Off Victim Right Outside KEMH

Police and first responders from the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene of another road traffic accident – this time right outside of the hospital on Point Finger Road in Paget.

 

Police say the accident occurred around 10:14pm Sunday night.

 

A spokesman said: “Details are still emerging but it appears that a car collided with a motorcycle and as a result, members of the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service used extricating equipment to lift the car off of the male victim, who then was conveyed to the hospital where the rider of the cycle is listed in serious condition at this time.

“The road has been cordoned  whilst the relevant personnel process the scene.”
