Police are investigating another report of gunshots fired off in the Deepdale and Parsons Road areas of Pembroke last night.
A spokesman said officers “received several calls reporting gunshots” around 7:45pm.
Multiple police vehicles and officers responded and confirmed that there was in fact a firearms incident, with no indication that anyone was injured.
“Upon arrival at the scene, officers recovered a number of spent shells near a private residence on Deepdale Road west,” a spokesman said.
“There were no reported injuries and checks with King Edward Hospital, confirmed no one had attended the facility seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
“Reports are two individuals on a silver grey coloured motorcycle, were seen leaving the area shortly after the incident. One of them believed to have been dressed in a grey tracksuit,” he added.
“Deepdale Road was cordoned off while the scene was forensically processed, but was reopened about one hour after the incident.
“This is the third such incident in this area in recent times and the Bermuda Police Service urges anyone with information to please call 211, the main police number, 295-0011 or Crime Stoppers on 800-8477.”
