The 40-year-old man stabbed after a domestic dispute in Sandys last night, is today listed in stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
Police and emergency services personnel responded to a reported altercation at a residence on Beacon Hill Lane shortly after 9:40pm last night.
A spokesman said: “When they arrived, they ascertained that two males had been involved in a domestic altercation resulting in one of the males receiving a stab wound in his chest.”
A 30-year-old man turned himself in at the Somerset Police Station later in the evening, the spokesman added. The incident is now under investigation.
