Police: Man Stabbed in Chest Rushed Into Surgery at KEMH in Critical Condition

A 35-year-old man was rushed into surgery in critical condition following a stabbing incident at Place’s Place on Dundonald Street in Hamilton.
Police say the victim sustained a stab wound to the chest. The incident occurred around 5:37pm on Christmas Eve.
His injuries were described as critical and he was “immediately taken into surgery”.
“Police are now looking for a 43-year-old Pembroke man said to be a suspect in connection with this reported stabbing,” a spokesman said.
