Police are investigating another shooting incident that landed a man in hospital on Tuesday night with injuries “not thought to be life-threatening” after he was shot three times on Happy Valley Road in Pembroke.
The incident occurred shortly after 11pm between Fort Hamilton and Belvin’s grocery store.
Police say the injured man was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department in a private car.
An area of Happy Valley Road was cordoned off as officers investigated the crime scene and police are now appealing for witnesses.
