A 57-year-old man found lying unconscious in the street following a single vehicle motorcycle crash was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired after he received hospital treatment.
Police say the accident occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday (December 23) outside AS Cooper’s on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton.
A spokesman said he was transported to the Emergency Department with non-life threatening injuries and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving whilst impaired.
