A Sandys man was formally charged in Magistrates’ Court this morning in connection with a stabbing that took place last week, in what was described by police as a domestic dispute.
Christopher Flood, 30, was not required to enter a plea to the indictable charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to Walter Pereira last Tuesday.
The case, which is bound for the Supreme Court, will be heard by a judge and jury of the defendant’s peers.
Flood was released on $5,000 bail by Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo on the condition that he avoids contact with the complainant.
His case was set down for mention during the next arraignment session in the Supreme Court on September 1st.
