Police have confirmed the arrest of a 41-year-old-man and that a “replica firearm” was recovered, following a confrontation at a private residence in Hamilton Parish on Wednesday (October 28).
A court appearance is anticipated early next week and no further information will be released at this point in time.
Meanwhile, TNN confirmed, “through reliable sources at the Bermuda Police Service, that a Sargasso sea delivery driver on Wednesday night was threatened at gunpoint by a white male at a house in Harrington Sound, as it is understood this person in particular is believed to be a former police officer”.
Calls to Sargasso Sea for a response went unanswered.
