Police arrested a man in connection with reports of someone allegedly “tampering” with vehicles at a city car park today.

The arrest came after a video surfaced on social media, that appeared to be taken at Bull’s Head Car Park in Hamilton.

A post on the Facebook page of the Bermuda Police Service, published just after 11am said reports came in of a man “allegedly tampering with vehicles” at the car park.

“Officers were dispatched to the scene and, after conducting inquiries, arrested a male fitting the description of the suspect,” the report added.

“We wish to thank those members of the public who assisted by providing information in relation to this matter.”

Meanwhile, inquiries continue and anyone with information is urged to call the main police number, 295-0011.

A spokeswoman for the City of Hamilton said earlier that the corporation alerted police soon after it received and viewed the video.
