Police: Man, Age 33, Continues to Recover in Hospital After Two Trucks Collide

Update: At last check this morning (June 3^rd), the 33-year-old man injured in a collision involving two trucks around 9:20am on Friday, May 31^st on North Shore Road in Smith’s Parish, near St James Court, remained in listed stable condition in the hospital.

A police spokesman said: “It now appears that the trucks were being driven in opposite directions along North Shore Road at the time.

“The 33-year-old man is understood to have been a passenger in one of the trucks and apparently sustained leg as well as shoulder injuries.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are now encouraged to call Constable Che Young on the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
