Police have confirmed that a senior citizen was found dead at a Pembroke residence yesterday.
A spokesman said officers responded to a report of a sudden death at a private residence on St Augustine Road around 2:25pm.
“The deceased, said to be a 76-year-old Pembroke man, was found inside an apartment. An on-call doctor attended the location and certified death.
“Identification of the deceased will be released once next of kin has been notified,” he said.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a cause of death is being examined.”
