Police are today investigating another stabbing incident that occurred on Sunday night (July 3), “aboard a private boat” at a raft up.

A police spokesman said a 26-year-old man was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department when the incident occurred just before 9:10pm.

“Officers along with Ambulance personnel were dispatched to the Rockaway Ferry Dock, where the victim, a 26-year-old male, was brought ashore,” he said.

“He was immediately transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was attended to for multiple stab wounds. His injuries are described as non-life threatening.

“Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call 211, or the main police number 295-0011. Alternatively, you may share that information with a police officer whom you know.”
