Police arrested a 22-year-old suspect following an attempted armed robbery by a man wielding a knife at Gametime in St George’s yesterday.
Police say the incident occurred around 1:30pm when a man entered the Water Street outlet demanding cash.
But he ended up running out of the store empty handed after he was wrestled to the ground by staff. No injuries were reported.
The suspect was arrested in the Turkey Hill area. Police say he’s assisting them with their inquiries.
Police also thanked the public for their assistance.
