Another male motorcyclist is in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit tonight, being treated for serious head injuries, after he was “trapped underneath the car” in a two-vehicle collision.
Police and first responders were dispatched to the scene on North Shore Road, just east of Barkers Hill around 5:30pm this evening.
A spokesman said the rider was “trapped underneath the car” as a result of the collision.
“The man was eventually extricated from the vehicle by the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service.
“He was then taken via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was being treated for serious head injuries.
Traffic was diverted in the area while the relevant police officers processed the scene.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to contact 295-0011.
