A male motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department following a two-vehicle accident on Middle Road in Devonshire.
Police say the accident occurred at the junction with Orange Valley Road around 4pm yesterday (Sept 14, involving the motorcycle and a SUV.
A spokesman said: “The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time. Apparently, the female driver of the SUV was unhurt.”
Traffic was diverted along Tee Street, while motorists headed east on Middle Road were advised to take alternative routes, while the scene was processed.
Witnesses are urged to contact police on 211.
