Police are looking to track down a second motorcyclist who was riding with 21-year-old Antoine Seaman when he was killed in a fatal crash with a police vehicle.
In a renewed appeal for witnesses who can help pinpoint the victim’s last movements from late on Sunday evening leading up to the accident, to come forward.
A police spokesman said: “Inquiries have confirmed that a second motorcyclist was riding with Mr Seaman and would likely have been present at the time of the fatal collision.
“The rider of that motorcycle – as well as members of the public with relevant information – are urged to call Sergeant Dorian Astwood on 247-1009 or 717-0849 at the earliest opportunity.”
The accident occurred just before 2am Monday on Somerset Road, near Willowbank in Sandys.
Mr Seaman’s death marks the fourth road traffic fatality on Bermuda’s roads this year.
The young Southampton resident leaves behind a host of relatives and friends and the Somerset Trojans Youth Football team he coached.
