The Bermuda Police Service is investigating the sudden death of female following reports that she was found unresponsive in waters off Southlands Beach around 4:45pm on Friday (Mar 24).
She was transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where sadly, she was pronounced dead by doctors a short time later.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
No further information will be provided until all next of kin have been informed.
