Police Investigating Sudden Death of Pembroke Man, 61 Found in Controversy Lane Area

Police are investigating the sudden death of a 61-year-old Pembroke man, found in an unresponsive state in the area of Controversy Lane in Pembroke around 5:20am this morning (Sunday, September 16).

Police and first responders were dispatched to the scene, where the man was later “pronounced dead at that location by an on call doctor”.

A spokesman said: “Foul play is not suspected, but an autopsy is anticipated.

“The scene was then processed by the relevant police personnel.

“Identification of the deceased will take place once next of kin has been notified.”
