The Bermuda Police Service is investigating the sudden death of 42-year-old Wilfred DeGraff, of St George’s Parish.

Mr DeGraff was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 6th, and subsequently passed away.

A police spokesman said: “An autopsy has been performed and the results are anticipated by the Police Service. We understand that Mr DeGraff recently travelled to Canada, and returned to Bermuda on September 26th.

“Whilst his death is not considered suspicious, we are interested in talking to any person who may have seen Mr DeGraff since his return to Bermuda, or who may have information about the circumstances leading up to his death. Any information regarding this matter will be dealt with in the strictest confidence,” he added.

Meanwhile, enquiries continue regarding the circumstances of Mr DeGraff’s death and a Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to assist the deceased’s family.
