Police inquiries continue this weekend into a road traffic accident on Friday, that landed a Sandys Parish man believed to be 44-years-old “for injuries initially described as serious, but not life threatening”.

The accident, involving a 59cc livery cycle and a car at the junction of Middle Road and Belmont Hills Drive in Warwick, occurred around 12 noon on Friday, April 27.

A police spokesman said today, an update on his condition will be provided in due course.

“The car driver involved, said to be a 52-year-old Warwick man, was arrested following the collision but has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries,” he added.
