An 83-year-old pedestrian who was struck by a car outside Quickie Lickie Laundromat is today listed in stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Hospital.

Police say the accident occurred around 11am on Monday, January 21 as the Hamilton Parish man was walking along the sidewalk in front of the laundromat when he was hit by a car being driven out of the parking lot.

He was transported to the Emergency Department via ambulance.

Meanwhile, the 62-year-old man who was struck by a car and seriously injured as he walked along North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish, near Trinity Church Road around 3pm on Thursday, January 17, remains listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
