Two students from West Pembroke Primary School were treated to gifts as part of the annual ‘Give a Child a Christmas’ initiative by members of A-Watch Central, RMSU and ComOps at the Bermuda Police Service.
A police spokeswoman said: “Over the past five years, A-Watch Central have selected a school in the central parishes and with the assistance of the school counselor, identified a deserving male and female student to receive gifts.
“This year, a sleigh full of gifts were presented to seven-year-old Nasayah and eight-year-old Zionde’ in the presence of family members and the school counselor, Ms Michelle Spencer.
“The individual officers made a combined donation of over $1,200 allowing them to purchase toys, books and school snacks for the youngsters and an additional gift of a MarketPlace gift voucher was presented to the guardians of the children.”
