Armed police officers executed a search warrant under the Firearms Act in the Friswells Hill, Pembroke area on Saturday, where a teenaged male was arrested without incident in connection with an ongoing investigation.
No word from police on whether or not any weapons were seized. But a police spokesman said: “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank area residents for their cooperation while officers carried out the operation and encourage anyone with information regarding the location of illegal firearms to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”
