Police say the accident occurred around 8:45am on Tuesday, August 20, on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish, near the junction with East Point Lane.
A spokesman said: “ Apparently the driver, said to be a 63-year-old Smith’s Parish woman, was not seriously hurt.
“However, it is understood she was transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for medical assessment as a precaution.
“Temporary traffic diversions were in effect while the scene was processed and the damaged car was later towed away.
