A female driver sustained a suspected neck injury this morning when the car she was driving struck a Belco utility pole.
Police says the single vehicle accident occurred shortly after 10am near Garden Drive on South Road in Paget.
A police spokesman said: “She was transported via ambulance to King Edward Hospital for treatment to her injury.
“The vehicle was left with extensive damage.
“The scene of the collision has been closed off to traffic while the scene is being processed.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area.”
