Police say the victim was involved in a single vehicle accident and was then struck by a truck.
A police spokeswoman said it was understood that he was travelling west along South Road in Southampton just west of Horseshoe Road around 9.45pm.
While he was being tended to by several members of the public, he was struck by a truck also travelling in a westerly direction.
He was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department where was later pronounced dead.
His death marks the third road traffic fatality on Bermuda’s roads this year.
