A 70-year-old woman succumbed to injuries sustained in a single vehicle road crash on Barnes Corner in Southampton.
Police say the accident occurred around 434pm on Friday, May 4.
A spokesman said it appears that she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree.
She was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department where she succumbed to her injuries and later pronounced dead at 5:55pm.
