A 43-year-old Warwick man was arrested by police on suspicion of impaired driving, following a reported two car hit and run collision on South Road in Paget near the Elbow Beach Hotel.
Police say the accident occurred around 6:30pm on Wednesday, October 11th. A spokesman said: “One of the vehicles involved was apparently drive away from the scene following the crash but was later located and impounded.
“The driver, believed to be a 43-year-old Warwick man, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.” No injuries were reported and police inquiries continue.
