Daquan Williams

The Bermuda Police Service confirmed that 25-year-old Daquan Williams was taken into police custody this evening (Tuesday, August 31st) following a public appeal regarding his whereabouts yesterday (Monday, August 30th).

As a result, a further update on the investigation into the recent Orange Hole Hill, St David’s shooting that left a 22 year old man hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries is expected tomorrow, Wednesday, September  1st

Earlier this week, Chief Inspector Peter Stableford of the Serious Crime Unit, while updating the public on the recent shooting in St David’s, said the injuries sustained by the 22-year-old man were not life threatening.

He was “shot several times sustaining injuries to his arms and abdomen”.

“We are interested in anyone who was in the area of Southside Road, Tommy Fox Road and Orange Hole Hill between 4.30 pm and 7.00 pm to get in touch if they saw anything suspicious,” he added.
 
“Anyone driving who may have dash cam footage or a home camera looking onto the street to have a look at what they have and get in touch.”
