Police responded to a report on an incident that took place on South Road in Southampton West on Saturday, where a 62-year-old English National was found in a non-responsive state in the grassy area of Church Bay.
A spokesman said the report came in around 8:30am yesterday morning.
No further information will be released until the man’s next of kin have been notified.
