Police have confirmed the sudden death of a 61-year-old man, who was found lying on Parliament Street near the junction with Front Street around 9:30pm on Wednesday, March 20.
A spokesman said he was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, but sadly later pronounced dead
“Officers on mobile patrol in the City of Hamilton found a 61-year-old man barely conscious, lying on Parliament Street near the junction with Front Street,” he said.
“The man, believed to be of no fixed abode, was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, but sadly later pronounced dead.
“Identification of the deceased is anticipated in due course, pending the necessary next of kin notification.”
