Police confirmed a shooting incident occurred in Pembroke, in the Crossland Lane area on Saturday.
A 911 call reporting multiple gunshots were heard came in around 12:35am.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and upon arrival, found evidence to confirm a firearm had been discharged at that location.
“There were no reported injuries.
“Inquiries at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital confirmed no one had attended the facility seeking treatment for a firearm related injury.
“This matter is now under investigation and anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Inspector, Jason Smith, on 717-0864 or via e- mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
