The Bermuda Police Service has confirmed the death of 85-year-old Rosina Bean, on board a commercial airline flight on Monday.

Ms Bean, a local resident, was returning to Bermuda with relatives, on a scheduled American Airlines flight from Miami on Monday evening, when she took ill while en route to the island. Despite lifesaving efforts, she was subsequently pronounced dead at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

As previously stated, a spokesman said there are no suspicious circumstances. And on behalf of the BPS, he also extended condolences to friend and family of the deceased.
