Police have confirmed the death of a 70-year-old man, who was found dead at a private residence on Victoria Street in Hamilton on Saturday (June 11).
Officers and first responders attended a report of an unresponsive man.
A spokeswoman said: “On arrival, it was ascertained that there were no signs of life present and death was pronounced at the scene by an attending physician.
“The scene was forensically processed by police and an investigation has commenced. An autopsy is anticipated in due course to determine cause of death, however foul play is not suspected at this time.
“The Bermuda Police Service is aware of social media posts circulating regarding the deceased. Anyone who may have information regarding the deceased, in particular his movements prior to his death, is encouraged to call police on 211.
“No further information will be given until the next of kin have been notified.”
