The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) has confirmed the arrest of former Commanding Officer of the Royal Bermuda Regiment (RBR), Lieutenant Colonel David Curley, who has been bailed pending a court appearance.

No further information on the the nature of the charges against Colonel Curley, who was appointed as Commanding Officer of the RBR in 2016.

You may recall that he was the subject of a police investigation back in November 2019 and was replaced as Commanding Officer by Lieutenant Colonel Ben Beasley last year.
