Two days after that brazen drive by shooting near Bermy Cuisine on Wednesday, police disclosed today that a 21-year-old Pembroke man is in custody in relation to that attempted shooting.

Speaking at a news conference this afternoon, Detective Inspector Jason Smith conceded there was “some element of gang activity” linked to this “targeted attack”, that was directed at two men.

Fortunately, no one was injured when gunshots broke out around 1pm.

Flanked by the Commissioner of Police Darrin Simons, said the man identified as a person of interest turned himself in at the Hamilton Police Station around 9am this,.

At last check he iwas still in custody.
