A 60-year-old BTC worker injured in an industrial accident last week remains in hospital today.
The incident occurred at the Berkeley Institute on Friday morning, when the workman slipped off a ladder and fell 40 feet down a service shaft.
He sustained cuts to his head and complained of chest pain.
A police spokesman said today that at last check this morning, the man was listed in stable condition on a general ward at King Edward Memorial VII Hospital.
The incident is now under investigation by Government’s health and safety officer.
